‍️ Position Overview

As Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you’ll partner with the Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations, ensure compliance, and drive quality care across the facility.

You’ll play a key role in staff development, clinical oversight, and survey readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in managing day-to-day nursing operations
  2. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
  3. Make daily rounds to support staff and ensure quality care
  4. Lead and support CQI (Quality Improvement) initiatives
  5. Conduct chart audits and monitor documentation accuracy
  6. Oversee infection control practices
  7. Support staffing, scheduling, and team development
  8. Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and staff

Qualifications

  1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Alabama (required)
  2. 3+ years nursing experience (long-term care preferred)
  3. Supervisory or leadership experience required
  4. Strong knowledge of survey process and regulations
  5. Proven leadership, organization, and communication skills
