Cura Health is seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our Cura of Onamia facility. In this vital leadership role, you will support the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. As the ADON, you will play a key role in staff development, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance, helping to maintain the high standards of Cura Health. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing staff and daily operations.
  • Support staff training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
  • Help implement nursing policies, procedures, and compliance protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor patient care standards and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in regulatory surveys and help ensure facility compliance.
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, and resource management to optimize workflow.
  • Serve as a role model and promote a culture of teamwork, compassion, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience in nursing leadership, preferably as a charge nurse or nursing supervisor.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in long-term care or similar settings.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support nursing staff effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
