ONELIFE Senior Living is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly supportive Assistant Director of Human Resources to partner closely with the Corporate Director of HR in serving our multi‑state senior living platform. Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Human Resources

HR Support & Coordination

  • Assist the Corporate Director of HR with daily operations, project coordination, and administrative oversight.
  • Help maintain HR systems, records, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the rollout of HR initiatives, policies, and process improvements across communities.

Talent & Recruitment Support

  • Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Support leadership teams with onboarding processes and new‑hire documentation.
  • Help maintain consistency in recruitment practices across multiple communities.

Employee Relations Assistance

  • Support the HR Director with employee relations documentation, scheduling, and follow‑up.
  • Assist with investigations, corrective action tracking, and maintain confidential files.
  • Help ensure compliance with multi‑state employment laws and ONELIFE policies.

Culture & Engagement Support

  • Assist in coordinating engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture‑building activities.
  • Support leaders in promoting ONELIFE’s Culture Keys throughout the employee experience.

Training & Systems Support

  • Help maintain HRIS accuracy and support users with basic system navigation.
  • Assist with scheduling and preparing training materials for leaders and team members.

Required Experience

  • HR experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or multi‑site operations preferred.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, compliance, or recruitment functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Knowledge of California labor laws is a plus due to the state’s complex regulatory environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office systems.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
