Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, the Assistant Director of Human Resources plays a critical role in promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at Quincy College by investigating complaints of sex-based discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 as well as general employee complaints.

The Assistant Director of Human Resources will also provide support in the areas of talent acquisition, leave administration, labor relations, and employee relations. The role is a key component in maintaining a positive and productive work environment, and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with various departments to achieve this goal.

Talent Acquisition and Leave Administration: The Assistant Director of Human Resources will be responsible for managing the recruitment and hiring process, as well as providing support for employee leave policies. This includes coordinating with hiring managers, reviewing applications, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Labor Relations and Employee Relations: The Assistant Director of Human Resources will also provide support in labor relations and employee relations, including mediating disputes, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and providing guidance on employee conduct and performance. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex and sensitive issues.

Key Responsibilities:
