The Assistant Director of Human Resources collaborates with the Executive Director to oversee HR operations, manage the employee lifecycle, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Responsible for talent management, recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Administers employee benefits, manages HRIS systems, and prepares HR reports.
- Provides guidance on workforce strategy, employee engagement, and performance issues.
- Ensures legal compliance and maintains accurate records.
- Supports employee relations, handles Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and disability programs.
- Assumes acting director duties when needed and participates in special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years HR experience, HR certifications preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills. The role requires on-campus presence with occasional off-hours, confidentiality, and professionalism.
