Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admissions for TTIP Professional Programs, the Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment - PGP & SW Region will lead recruitment initiatives, evaluate admission applications, and perform related duties in support of the Master of Engineering (MEng) programs in Computer Engineering (CPE) and Computer Science & Applications (CSA). This position requires independent decision-making in the admissions process and close collaboration with university partners, including Marketing and Communications, the Graduate School, academic departments, and the Division of Enrollment Management, to implement innovative recruitment and admissions strategies.
The Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment - PGP & SW Region will play a key role in expanding and strengthening graduate recruitment efforts through activities that include, but are not limited to:
The Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment - PGP & SW Region will utilize CRM systems and data analytics to monitor recruitment outcomes and track prospective students throughout the recruitment funnel, from initial engagement through enrollment. The position will also support broader strategy development and operational initiatives related to recruitment for professionally oriented graduate degree programs.
This position may be eligible for one day of telework per week in accordance with current university policy, which is subject to change based on institutional needs.
The position is based in Blacksburg, Virginia. Regular travel (~every six weeks) to Virginia Tech's campus in Alexandria, Virginia, as well as regional travel throughout the southwestern United States, will be required. Recruitment activities may also require occasional evening and weekend work.

This position is located in Blacksburg, Virginia. It is part of the Institute for Advanced Computing team located in Academic Building 1 in Alexandria, Virginia. However, this position is located in Blacksburg, Virginia, and will work primarily in Blacksburg. This position does require frequent travel to Alexandria and around the South West Area of Virginia.
