Position Overview
The Assistant Director of Operations manages the administrative and logistical backbone of the football program, including team travel, home game setup, and recruiting visits. This role ensures seamless daily execution across the program by managing student workers and supporting overall coaching operations.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the football program
Support Coaching and support staff positions with daily team operations, including practices, meetings, and other team activities
Assist with coordination of gameday operations (home) and travel logistics (away)
Organize and oversee official and unofficial recruiting visits, including gameday recruiting activities
Manage and coordinate student-worker activities
Perform additional duties as assigned by the coaching and support staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Strong communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Organizational skills; ability to multi-task/manage several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, strategic-thinking skills; willingness to learn and take initiative
Proven ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and within a team structure.
Proficiency in office software systems such as: MS Word, Office, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
