The Food & Nutrition Services department has an opening for an Assistant Director. The ideal candidate is an organized, adaptable leader with a strong knowledge of food service operations and child nutrition programs who can communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and ensure compliance while maintaining high standards of customer service. He/she is a hands-on team player who supports staff, improves operations, and promotes a positive, efficient work environment.

The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 30% sitting, 50% walking, and 20% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard-free environment.
