Job Summary/Basic Function
The Assistant Director of Campus Visits will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Welcome Center and campus visit experience, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning while providing exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, and visitors at Indiana State University. This position plays a key leadership role in supporting the Office of Admission through the management of individual and group campus visits, visit scheduling, outreach communication, reporting, and visitor experience strategy, while also supervising student staff and serving as a backup presenter during peak recruitment periods. Additionally, the Assistant Director will collaborate across campus to support recruitment initiatives, enhance operational processes, and ensure a welcoming and personalized experience that supports enrollment and yield goals.

Education: Must have Bachelor's Degree (4 years) at time of hire.
Experience: 1-2 Years. Will consider student assistants or graduate assistants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plans and coordinates all aspects of individual, including detailed itineraries, visit staffing, presentation venues, additional visit appointments, and other tasks related to the Campus Visit Experience program. Collaborate with the athletic department's coaching staff to support their campus programs and individual visits for athletic recruits.

Manage all functionality of the Front Desk in the Welcome Center, including but not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, processing paperwork, organizing and greeting visitors in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner. Maintains, evaluates, and updates visit presentation and website and visit process and experience. Serve as visit presenter for campus visits as needed.

Manages contacts and acts as a liaison with other programs, offices and departments to include faculty, department chairs, financial aid, residential life relating to campus visits.
