Description
Summary:
The Assistant Director of Bands, Drill Writer and Inventory Technician is responsible for the general operations and administration of the Bands Program. The Assistant Director of Bands reports to the Director of Bands. The successful candidate will assist with the administration, instruction, recruitment, and daily operation of the nationally recognized Marching Maroon and White Band, concert ensembles, and athletic bands.

Do you have a bachelors degree in Music Education, Music Performance, Conducting, Educational Leadership, or a closely related field from an accredited institution?

Do you have three (3) years of successful experience teaching instrumental music at the secondary or collegiate level, or equivalent professional experience?

Do you have experience in music arranging for marching bands, athletic bands, and/or concert ensembles?

Do you have experience assisting with band operations, student recruitment, and ensemble administration?
