Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Admissions - International will promote Purdue University's undergraduate programs and advise prospective students in the college search and selection process. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Office of Admissions with the strategy and initiatives related to the admission and recruitment of international undergraduate students. Responsibilities will include admission recruitment, application review and responding to phone and email inquiries. This position will frequently engage, both in-person and virtually, with prospective domestic and international students and their families in one-on-one meetings as well as to large and small audiences on-campus and around the world. The position may also include program coordination and other projects.
The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator with the ability to tactfully engage and build relationships with prospective students and families, high school counselors, organizations, and campus partners. Additionally, this position requires cultural understanding, international travel, the ability to think critically, independently using problem solving, and judgment skills to make educated, professional decisions. The successful candidate will understand and support the benefits of a diverse campus community and value the perspective of others.

The anticipated annual salary for this position is $50,000 commensurate with the candidate's education and experience. The final salary offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including equity, available budget, educational background, and relevant experience.
