As a member of the Admission Operations team, the Assistant Director of Admission - Operations and Technology, will be a CRM (Technolutions Slate) lead and will have primary responsibility for building and distributing digital communications, ensuring accurate transfer credit evaluations, and creating a robust user experience for prospective students. The Assistant Director of Admission - Operations and Technology will serve as a liaison between the admission teams and the Integrated Marketing and Communication team.
PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- CRM Maintenance and Improvement
- Lead Slate database clean up in the Deliver and Queries modules including archiving communication messages and communication-related data as needed.
- Oversee population maintenance and query building for all outgoing digital and physical recruitment communications.
- Create Slate reports on key communication metrics for team members and senior leadership.
- Communication Building, Distribution, and Analysis
- Lead CRM (Technolutions Slate) specialist for the Deliver module.
- Set up and optimize recruitment campaigns featuring emails and text messages in the Slate Deliver module using pre-determined content.
- Collaborate with the undergraduate, graduate, and integrated marketing teams to review and update communications regularly.
- Evaluate current communication processes, practices, and workflows to determine more efficient and effective ways to engage throughout enrollment funnel utilizing Slate and physical mailings.
- Collaborate with events team to maintain and innovate events-based communications to ensure well-attended events.
- Assist with admission decision, scholarship, and financial aid notification releases via email, Slate portals, and physical mail.
- Data Processing
- Completes transfer credit evaluations for incoming students.
- Generates and disseminates degree audits to appropriate parties.
- Works with Registrar's Office and faculty advisors to monitor curricular changes and transfer equivalencies.
- Assists with various other daily Admission Operations tasks on an as needed basis, including consolidating duplicate records, retrieving, and maintaining transcripts and test scores, managing inventory for physical mailings/materials, etc.
- Reviews source materials for completeness and resolves problems related to incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Train and supervise Admission Operations student workers.
- Attends office and university meetings.
- Participates in professional development opportunities such as conferences, workshops, and meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required; previous admission/enrollment experience; experience with marketing and communication best practices preferred; experience with APA style.
- A Motor Vehicle License is
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have prior experience in Slate (or other CRM experience), Photoshop, Microsoft Office Individuals should also have the ability to learn other computer skills as deemed necessary.
