POSITION SUMMARY: TheAssistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for the clinical team (licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants) and the quality of resident services in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON). The ADON assists in ensuring the nursing department provides care that is evidence based, best practice to all residents. This individual serves in a supporting role to the DON by helping to manage the day-to-day operations, coordinating tasks such as communication, evaluations, projects, committees, disciplinary actions, and the nursing schedule. Other duties as assigned,includingparticipating in on-call rotations.
