The Assistant Director of Marketing & Fan Development will support the marketing department efforts for fan and student engagement initiatives at Virginia Tech, working to create memorable and unique experiences. This position will report to the Assistant AD for Marketing & Fan Development, within the Brand Advancement team, with the goal of overseeing the implementation and management of marketing strategies to drive attendance, promotion, and engagement of athletic events, as well as increase the overall visibility of Virginia Tech Athletics.
Duties will include development and implementation of marketing plans for select sports, fan experience initiatives and enhancement of fan engagement with Virginia Tech Athletics. In addition, individual will work collaboratively with internal units including but not limited to In-Venue Experience, Ticket Sales, Digital Strategy & Innovation and Creative.
