Position Summary:
The Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) is seeking an Assistant Director, Information Technology to join the Katz IT team. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this position plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day delivery of technology services that support students, faculty, and staff across the School''s academic, research, and administrative environments.
As a member of the Katz IT team, you will oversee the daily delivery of technology services, including desktop support, classroom and audiovisual technology, hardware procurement, endpoint and device lifecycle management, technology asset management, and end-user support. You will supervise technology support staff, coordinate operational activities, and work closely with the Director of Information Technology to ensure reliable, responsive, and customer-focused technology services across the School of Medicine.
You will collaborate with university departments, health system partners, vendors, and School of Medicine stakeholders to plan, implement, and support technology initiatives that enhance the user experience and advance institutional priorities. This role also contributes to operational planning, service improvement, technology lifecycle planning, project implementation, and the development of efficient, sustainable technology solutions that support the school's mission.
This position offers the opportunity to help lead a talented technology support team while contributing to the continued growth and modernization of technology services within the Lewis Katz School of Medicine. This is a hybrid position based on Temple University''s Health Sciences Campus.
