The Assistant Director of Guest Services is responsible for the engagement of current volunteers and assisting the Guest Services team in building the volunteer program to provide meaningful experiences for our volunteers that deliver exceptional services to those we care for. This position is systemwide, bringing FirstHealth’s purpose, To Care for People, to each of our campuses. The successful candidate will have the ability to create opportunities that foster purpose and highlight our volunteers’ importance to deliver on our brand promise of First-class care on first-name basis.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Services, Social/Psychology Services or Business Management or related major
OR
Graduation from an accredited college with a two-year degree in Human Services, Social/Psychology Services or Business Management or related major
Experience in a Volunteer/Customer Services related role; one year management/leadership experience preferred. Interview, negotiation, counseling, and assessment skill experience needed;
Prefer knowledge of DNV/healthcare licensure guidelines.
