Position Summary
This position will manage and provide oversight to the operations of engineering services, facilities and groundskeeping, at UI Health Care Medical Center Downtown Campus. This includes maintaining operating and capital budgets, developing, revising, and monitoring compliance with building maintenance and repair program involving HVAC, electrical, utilities and grounds, labor productivity, preventative and corrective maintenance and repair, minor project work, energy sustainability, and overall regular compliance.
This position provides analysis and recommendations regarding the functional assessment of facility systems and ensures alignment with strategic planning. This position works collaboratively with UI capital management and design/construction teams as well as MCU Engineering Services. This position will provide oversight of the facilities and groundskeeping crews to ensure adequate labor and equipment necessary to maintain the plant, buildings, and grounds.
