Description

The Assistant Director, BusinessOperationsprovidesstrategicleadershipandoversightofbusinessserviceactivitiesforadepartment,division,orschool.ThisroledirectsoperationsacrosskeyfunctionalareasincludingHumanResources,Finance,FacilitiesManagement,andresearchadministration,ensuringalignmentwithorganizationalgoals,regulatoryrequirements,andoperationalpriorities. TheDirectorisresponsibleformanagingcomplexoperationalissues,developinglong-termstrategies,andguidingdepartmentalleadershipinfinancialplanning,workforcemanagement,andoperationalefficiency.Thisrolecontributessignificantlytodepartmentalandsystem-wideinitiativesbyprovidingstrategicdirection,operationalleadership,andadministrativeoversight.

+ Directallbusinessserviceactivitiesforthedepartment,division,orschool,includingoversightoffinance,humanresources,facilities,andresearchadministration. + Provideleadershipandguidanceoncomplexoperationalissues,strategicinitiatives,anddepartmentalanalysis. + Developandimplementlong-termoperationalstrategiesanddepartmentalgoalsalignedwithorganizationalpriorities. + Evaluateoperationalandfinancialproceduresandrecommendimprovementstoenhanceefficiencyandeffectiveness. + Providestrategicdirectionontechnicalandoperationalissuesaffectingdepartmentalperformance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



Education

Bachelor’sdegreeinoneofthefollowingorarelatedfield: + BusinessAdministration + Finance + HealthcareAdministration + PublicAdministration

Preferred



Education

Master’sdegreepreferred.

Experience

+ Five (5)toseven (7)yearsofhealthcare-relatedexperience,preferablywithinanambulatoryhealthcaresetting. + Two (2)yearsofsupervisoryormanagementexperiencerequired.
