Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $83,500 - Midpoint: $112,700 (Salaried E13)

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Assistant Dean Capstone College of Nursing Student Services provides strategic leadership, oversight, and direction for all student services units within the college. Provides effective administration, assessment, and continuous improvement of services supporting thousands of nursing students across multiple programs. Implements a comprehensive vision for student recruitment, retention, engagement, progression, and completion across undergraduate and graduate nursing pathways. Establishes and sustains effective communication channels within the college and across campus. Cultivates and sustains relationships with clinical and community partners, accreditation organizations, state boards, and professional associations. Leads and advances strategic initiatives for student services within the college.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of academic and/or student services experience; OR master's degree and six (6) years of academic and/or student services experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of student development, academic advising, enrollment management, and student success frameworks. Knowledge of trends, standards, and best practices in nursing education and/or professional accreditation (CCNE, ACEN, state board requirements, etc.). Strong leadership ability, including managing change and fostering innovation. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively and build strong collaborative relationships across multiple units. Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and programs that enhance the student experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in higher education administration, student affairs, public health, healthcare administration, or a closely related field. Doctoral preparation (completed or in progress).
