The hiring salary for this position is $90,000.

POSITION SUMMARY
At the direction of the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, the Assistant Dean is responsible for assisting and facilitating the communication, administration, delivery, and operational controls of all campus educational activities, consistent with the CIA's educational mission and core values of excellence, professionalism, ethics, and respect for diversity.
The Assistant Dean contributes to the overall success of the San Antonio campus and participates as a member of the campus' Academic Affairs leadership team, managing and supporting the smooth functioning of San Antonio degree programs delivery. This position acts as a direct supervisor for select full-time and adjunct faculty, evaluating teaching activities and supporting faculty growth and development. The Assistant Dean is also responsible for monitoring procedures to ensure full compliance with the Institute's academic and employee policies, and compliance with external accreditors and state higher education authorities.
