This full-time, exempt Assistant Coach position on the West Plains Women's Volleyball team involves supporting the development and success of the program through coaching, recruiting, and program management.
- Provides technical coaching, teaches fundamentals, supervises practices, and mentors student-athletes.
- Ensures compliance with NJCAA rules and university policies regarding eligibility, recruiting, and scholarships.
- Promotes athlete safety by preventing injuries and referring injured players to medical staff.
- Participates in fundraising, promotional activities, and community engagement to support the program.
- Supports the university community through non-athletic duties and maintains positive public relations.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree, at least two years of college coaching experience (or equivalent playing experience), knowledge of NJCAA rules, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and a valid Missouri driver’s license.
