Job Summary
The Assistant Coach will assist the head coach maintaining and /or enhancing every aspect of the intercollegiate athletic program as part of the mission of State College of Florida.
The Assistant Coach-Softball is a stipend position and will be paid up to $8755 annually.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors degree preferred but not required, at least two year of experience at a related level, preferred but not required. College playing experience at a related level is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, leadership, decision making, and supporting the overall athletic program, student activities and college.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform calculations on standard measures of American currency and weight, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram/chart form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete changes in standardized situations.

CPR certification or ability to obtain. Valid Florida drivers license or the ability to obtain and maintain.

Responsibility for Communication:
Position has routine contact with SCF staff, administration, faculty and students.
Position has frequent contact with general public, including prospective students, vendors, community members, and other athletic agencies or institutions.
