All aspects of the program are to be conducted according to the principles of the CIF-CCS and GUSD Code of conduct for Inter-scholastic coaches regarding trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship.Responsibilities Personnel – Adult: Take direction from Head Coach and Admin Designee, and work with all paid and volunteer coaches to ensure adherence with Code of conduct for Interscholastic CoachesPersonnel – Student: Assist head coach in selection of players through fair tryout system, assist in managing team preparation according to sport, its rules and capabilities of the athletes; work with the Athletic Director and relevant school personnel to monitor student grades and attendance to ensure continued eligibilityScheduling: Assist head coach in developing practice and competition scheduling in coordination with Athletic Director; on-time attendance is expected at all practices and competitions.Meeting & Rules: All coaches must attend pre-and post-season league meetings.
