This role is for an Assistant Coach for Congressional Debate, working with students in grades 5-12 to prepare for competitive debate events including Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, and others.
The position involves facilitating practice sessions, providing feedback, supporting students at competitions, and helping them develop communication and public speaking skills.
Candidates should be local to the Raleigh-Durham area or open to virtual work, with qualities such as relationship-building, innovation, cultural competence, and debate experience (coaching experience preferred but not required).
Responsibilities include leading practices, coordinating after-school and weekend competitions, and offering weekly office hours for student preparation.
