Meadow Independent School District is seeking a motivated, student-centered professional to serve as an assistant football coach, along with other assignments, and a CTE teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an energetic educator who is passionate about developing successful student-athletes, building strong athletic programs, and creating positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the district athletic program
• Serve as assistant football coach and other assigned coaching duties
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and student success
• Teach selected CTE courses
• Create engaging, standards-based lessons and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Monitor student academic progress and UIL eligibility
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration
• Assist with UIL and extracurricular activities as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
• Appropriate coaching certifications/credentials
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
• CDL certification preferred or willingness to obtain
