Assistant Clinical Director

Position Summary
The Assistant Clinical Director is a leadership role responsible for supporting clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality ABA services across home, center, school, and community settings. This position supervises BCBAs, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians while partnering with the Clinical Director to oversee quality assurance, staff development, compliance, and client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Review assessments, treatment plans, and behavior intervention plans.
- Ensure treatment integrity and adherence to BACB ethics and payer requirements.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment based on data.
- Conduct documentation audits and quality assurance reviews.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and competency evaluations.
- Support client intake, assessments, authorizations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Participate in family guidance and parent training.
- Assist with hiring, leadership initiatives, and strategic growth.
- Serve as acting Clinical Director when delegated.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Current BCBA certification.
- Maryland LBA (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum 3 years of post-certification ABA experience.
- At least 1 year supervising RBTs or clinical staff.
- Experience with autism services and evidence-based ABA practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience in center-based and in-home ABA.
- Knowledge of Medicaid/commercial insurance requirements.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
