The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Assistant City Attorney I - Criminal Division in the Department of City Attorney. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under the general direction of the City Attorney, is responsible for representing the City on all matters heard in, and appealed from, the Henderson Municipal Court; reviews complaints for prosecutorial merit; drafts motions and pleadings; drafts City ordinances; and performs related duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $89,663.81 - $136,717.37 annually.
Salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidates qualifications as well as internal equity.
