Job Summary:

HCA Florida Palms West Peds ED is seeking a FT Assistant Chief of Emergency Medicine for our 24-Bed Adult ED (separate from Peds ED that has 10 rooms). located in Loxahatchee, FL, in the greater West Palm Beach area.


ED Features:

  • 65,000 annual patient visits (~45,000 Main ED; 20,000 Peds ED).
  • FT- 120/hrs/mo
  • 1.7 avg pph
  • Dedicated fully staffed PEM docs with Pediatric specialties and support
  • on-site Cath Lab
  • 24/7 US tech available on site
  • 24/7 MRI available
  • Comprehensive Stroke program 
  • Physician Shifts: 6a-3p, 10a-7p, 3p-1a, 8p-6a with schedule mix of 8-12 hr shifts depending on season volumes)
  • 25 hours of APP coverage 

Qualified candidates:

  • Must be BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician
  • Current ACLS and PALS
  • FL licensed with DEA
