Description: The Assistant Director shall maintain a leadership role among peer staff and campers in an active summer day camp environment. Provide supervision and care for children ages 5-15, ensuring their medical, physical, social, and emotional needs are appropriately addressed. Supervise and participate with the campers at all activity sites. Set an example for behavior and attitude for peer staff and campers. Ensure a safe supportive environment for all staff and participants. Serve as a liaison between group and camp administrative staff. Provide regular feedback to camp administrators to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of camp operations. This is a safety sensitive position. As such, you will be required to participate in random drug testing at the city.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years or older Experience with kids 5-15 years old Minimum 3 months of supervision experience Ability to swim (This role involves work in and around water; therefore, candidates must be able to swim confidently. All staff will participate in water field trips and swim days in the water.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous camp experience preferred CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred 21 years or older Commit to all sessions of camp: May 11 - August 7
