We are seeking a qualified Assistant Bridge Inspection Team Leader for NYSDOT Biennial Bridge Inspection contracts. This role is based in New York, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and iconic landmarks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of bridges, utilizing Bridge Detail Sheets (Client Sheets).
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols during inspections.
  • Work effectively in various environments, including heights, ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, or under-bridge inspection equipment.
  • Adapt to working in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an AAS degree in civil or structural technology.
  • At least 2 years of bridge inspection experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Bridge Detail Sheets.
  • Physical capability to perform duties at heights and in challenging environments.
