The Assistant Coach assists in developing and implementing athletic programs from 7th grade through varsity, serving as a role model and liaison for the school community.
Essential duties include analyzing opposition strategies, assessing student performance, supporting off-season training, developing game plans and practice routines, supervising student athletes, maintaining records, promoting the program, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications require meeting MSHSAA standards; a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate and coaching experience are preferred.
This exempt position reports to the Head Coach and Activities Director, with employment terms outlined in the Extra-Duty Assignment Letter. The role emphasizes professional conduct, effective communication, and fostering a positive athletic environment.
