Hiring Range: $79,600.00 - $104,000.00 Pay Grade: GEN12

Job Responsibilities:

• Prosecutors get to travel throughout the state and handle a variety of cases; everything from drug cases to murders, hit and runs to human trafficking. • You'll have the opportunity to work with various law enforcement agencies, different defense bars, and appear before judges across the state. • On this team, you'll be able to grow your litigation skills and have the chance to work on impactful legislation. • Check out some of the cases we've worked on recently! • State V. Minimum and Additional Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate Degree and five or more years of practicing experience, preferably in a Public Defenders or Solicitors Office or equivalent Criminal Prosecution/Defence experience • Must be a member and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar • Must satisfy Rule 403 requirements

Additional Requirements:

• Position may require travel overnight • Position may require travel and transporting files

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be organized and able to work independently to meet deadlines • Requires excellent written and oral advocacy skills • Must have criminal court experience
