About the Role:  

The Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and the Boston University Chobanian  & Avedisian School of Medicine are seeking candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics depending on experience.  

Key Responsibilities:  

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • providing clinical care (inpatient and outpatient);
  • participating in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and other health professionals;
  • having a leadership role in infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship activities;
  • conducting clinical, translational, epidemiologic or laboratory research in the field of Pediatric Infectious Diseases;
  • and other duties as needed.

Required Skills

Qualifications:  

  • MD/DO, MD/PhD, degrees or equivalent;
  • BC/BE in Pediatric Infectious Diseases;
  • holding (or eligible for) Massachusetts physician license.

Compensation ranges between $168,314 and $ 322,518                                        

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
