The George Washington School of Nursing invites qualified applicants for a tenure-track open rank faculty position. The ideal candidate will be a nurse researcher whose area of study includes one or more of the following: symptom science, oncology, behavioral health, health policy or population health. This full-time, 9 or 12-month position is scheduled to begin as early as summer 2026. This is an on-campus, not a remote position.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Earned PhD in nursing, public health, education or related field by the date of application
A nursing degree at any level
An emerging body of scholarship, as evidenced by presentations and peer-reviewed publications
Track record of external funding
Strong methodological and statistical skills
Prior college-level teaching experience is required, including comfort with in-person and online learning
Eligibility for unencumbered nursing licensure in DC and VA.
Advertised Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 Other Benefits:
