A doctoral degree in occupational therapy, or a masters degree in occupational therapy with a doctoral degree in a related field.
Note: Candidates who are close to completing a doctorate degree (ABD or all but capstone) or masters degree will be considered for the position but with a different ranking.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical practice, including supervision of occupational therapy fieldwork students (will consider relevant part-time experience)
Licensed or eligible for licensure within North Carolina

The College of Health Sciences is composed of four (4) academic units. The College of Health Sciences primary focus is on the practice, pedagogy, and promotion of health and wellness. The faculty of the Master of Science in Occupation Therapy program have primary responsibility for developing courses, teaching course content, and evaluating student learning outcomes. They are also responsible for identifying how the courses that they develop are consistent with the curriculum design and meet program and student learning objectives. Faculty members are valuable members of the Department of Occupational Therapy and serve multiple roles as teachers, mentors, colleagues, and scholars. Faculty are expected to excel in classroom instruction and to fulfill various responsibilities related to their assigned teaching duties.
