Required Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in nursing or related discipline. If the earned doctorate is not in nursing, the master's degree must be in nursing. If the doctorate was earned via a BSN to doctorate, the doctorate must be in nursing and the requirement for a master's degree is waived.
Unincumbered Michigan RN License (or licensed RN in another state that will require application to Michigan State Board of Nursing for Michigan licensure)
Evidence of area of expertise and an identified program of scholarship
Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Minimum of one-year teaching experience at undergraduate and/or graduate levels
