The Department is seeking a faculty anesthesiologist for clinical service utilizing an anesthesia care team model, teaching of medical students, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals, and clinical research. The Department has very active chronic pain, critical care, inpatient pain, and pre-operative care services at multiple locations within the health system and is an ideal place for faculty to establish themselves in their career path.
UC Anesthesiologists provide comprehensive care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Rank/title commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions
Provide direct patient care. Related duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Teach and train UC medical students and UC Medical Center residents and fellows, UC nurse anesthesia program students, anesthesiology assistant students, and UC Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
