Work Location: The area to be served includes Tangipahoa Parish as the primary ANR extension agent focusing on livestock/forage production, with additional livestock/forage responsibilities in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes. Tangipahoa, Washington, and St. Tammany parishes are home to 31,650 beef cattle, 5,650 dairy cattle, 1,000 chickens, 1,085 goats, 495 sheep, and 125 breeding swine, reflecting a diverse and substantial livestock industry. The (Assistant/ Associate/ Full) Area Agents office domicile will be located at the Tangipahoa Parish Extension Office in Amite, Louisiana. Position Description: This is a non-tenure track, agent level position (100% Extension ANR).
