SALARY RANGE:$90,000-$95,000

commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.

Definition of Classification:
The Assistant/Associate Athletic Director, Facilities & External Engagement will assist the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics with the oversight of the overall management of departmental operations including external facility rentals, scheduling and operations of athletic facilities, short-term and long-term facilities planning and sponsorships and external partnerships.
Reporting to the VPIA, this position is part of the Athletic Department's leadership team and provides administrative support and oversight to assist in managing the department. This role will assist with the oversight of athletic programs as assigned.
This position requires flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as well as the ability to travel, as required.

Primarily on-site at athletic facilities, offices and event venues. Frequent movement between indoor and outdoor locations, including stadiums, fields, gymnasiums and aquatic centers. Standard office setting.
Physical Demands:
Incumbents need the ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and facility inspections. Occasional lifting and moving of equipment (up to 25-50lbs) for event set up and sponsor activations. Comfortable working in varied weather conditions during outdoor activities.
