Position Summary
Christ the King Catholic School seeks an Advancement Manager to join its Advancement Office. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this position supports the school's mission through marketing, communications, admissions, development, and events. The Advancement Manager works alongside the Admissions and Content Coordinator, who manages tours, the FACTS database, and social content, and a remote Marketing Coordinator, who oversees graphics and platform operations.
This is a generalist role requiring versatility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage shifting priorities across the school year.
Responsibilities
- Develop written content for newsletters, appeals, the website, and other communications
- Support admissions and family engagement efforts, including tours and outreach as needed
- Assist with development activities, including the annual fund, donor stewardship, and alumni relations
- Plan and execute school events, including open houses, the annual gala, and donor receptions
- Provide operational support across Advancement Office platforms, including FACTS, donor management software, email, and content management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
- Two or more years of relevant professional experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (writing samples will be requested)
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly; prior experience with FACTS or donor management software preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Practicing Catholic in good standing, or a candidate who can support the Catholic mission and identity of the school
