JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Administrator reports to and works collaboratively with the Area Executive Director or Executive Director (ED) supporting the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern skilled nursing facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can always be provided to our residents. Follows all established policies and procedures to include nursing care procedures, safety regulations, human resources policies, departmental policies, and procedures, assuring that quality resident care and an effective operation can be maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience serving in a supervisory role; 1-2 years of healthcare experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehab or assisted living is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in business financial analytics.
  • Strong leadership skills, including experience coaching, managing and team development.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with social networking and internet vehicles and tools such as emails, search engines, social media, blogs, and job boards.
