    Assistant Administrator / Nurse Manager ( RN or LPN )


    Can be a Registered Nurse ( RN ) or Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN )


    Crowne Place Assisted Living is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Administrator / Nurse Manager ( RN or LPN ) to join our Assisted Living team.

    This leadership position assists the Administrator with the day-to-day operations of the community while providing clinical oversight, supervising nursing personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping create an exceptional living environment for our residents.

    Qualifications:

    • Current Alabama RN or LPN License in good standing
    • Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience
    • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
    • Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Geriatric experience preferred
    • Current CPR Certification
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Must pass background check and drug screening


    Essential Job Functions:

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist the Administrator with daily facility operations
    • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing and wellness staff
    • Coordinate resident assessments and individualized service plans
    • Monitor resident health, wellness, and changes in condition
    • Oversee medication management and medication administration compliance
    • Coordinate physician communication and implementation of physician orders
    • Assist with admissions, resident transitions, and occupancy initiatives
    • Maintain compliance with Alabama Assisted Living regulations
    • Participate in state surveys, quality assurance, and performance improvement programs
    • Monitor resident documentation, medication records, and regulatory compliance
    • Assist with interviewing, hiring, orientation, scheduling, and employee development
    • Coach and mentor team members while promoting a positive workplace culture
    • Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners
    • Monitor clinical supplies, inventory, and departmental resources
    • Support emergency preparedness and infection prevention efforts
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator

    • Knowledge of medication management and resident assessments
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
    • Experience with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office
    • Commitment to resident-centered care and regulatory excellence
