Assistant Accounting Manager/ Bookkeeper
Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Role Overview: The Assistant Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper will assist with daily accounting functions, handle QuickBooks transactions, support accounts payable/receivable, and assist with job cost tracking. The role also includes administrative support to the President, managing schedules, communications, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping and accounting functions.
- Use QuickBooks for entering and reconciling transactions.
- Help with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist with managing job costs and project budgets.
- Maintain financial records and documentation.
- Use platforms like Buildertrend and CoConstruct for construction management.
- Provide administrative support to the President, including scheduling and coordination.
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (required).
- Familiarity with Buildertrend and CoConstruct (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
Compensation:
- $55,000 and $65,000, depending on experience and abilities.
