About The Role
As our Asset & Vendor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Atlas FMs technology estate is well‑governed, cost‑effective, and fully aligned to the needs of our people and our customers. You will take ownership of the end‑to‑end management of IT assets, licences, and technology vendor relationships, ensuring they operate efficiently, securely, and in line with compliance standards.
You will build and maintain a complete and accurate asset register covering devices, infrastructure, software licences and SaaS subscriptions, ensuring that every asset is tracked, utilised, and managed throughout its lifecycle. Working closely with colleagues across IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security, youll implement governance controls, conduct periodic audits, optimise costs, and ensure we always have the right technology available at the right time.
This role is central to supporting Atlas FMs commitment to Integrity and Responsibility through strong governance practices and contractual compliance. Youll conduct structured vendor reviews, manage renewals and negotiations, maintain a clear audit trail, and ensure our contracts deliver value, high performance, and the service levels our teams depend on.
Youll also contribute to cost efficiency, analysing asset utilisation and licence spend to identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement, reflecting the Atlas values of Passion and Teamwork in driving smarter, collaborative ways of working.
Ultimately, you will help us protect our technology investment, strengthen security and compliance, and enable our teams to deliver outstanding service to our customers, reinforcing Atlas FMs belief in doing the right thing, every time.
About You
You are an organised, detail‑driven professional with a strong understanding of IT asset and vendor management, and youre passionate about building robust processes that ensure technology is well governed, cost‑effective, and compliant.
You bring experience in managing the full lifecycle of IT hardware and software, including licence compliance, cloud subscriptions, endpoint governance, and asset disposal. Youre comfortable interpreting data, producing MI, and using insight to drive commercial decisions and improvement opportunities.
You have excellent relationship‑building skills and thrive when working cross‑functionally, collaborating with IT, Finance, Procurement, and operational teams. Youre confident in vendor management, contract renewals, and negotiations, ensuring suppliers deliver great value and high‑quality service.
