The Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for preventing financial loss through theft and fraud, ensuring safety, and supporting environmental compliance in their assigned store(s).
They utilize tools such as CCTV review, exception reports, and security monitoring to identify incidents, audit security systems, and promote a shrink elimination culture.
Additional duties include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court. They must report hazards, promote safety, demonstrate integrity, and address asset protection concerns while aligning with store objectives.
