Required Skills & Keywords:

  • Jenkins & Groovy Mastery: Expert in Jenkins pipeline orchestration using Groovy (Shared Libraries) to build scalable, reusable automation.
  • Modern SCM & CI/CD: Proficiency with GitHub (Actions, Workflows, and Advanced Security) and Git-based branching strategies.
  • Automation & Tooling: Advanced Bash scripting and Python development; experience using Flask to build internal tools/APIs is a major plus.
  • Build Systems: Deep knowledge of Maven and Gradle for Java microservices and npm/yarn for Angular applications.
  • App-Dev Lifecycle: Strong understanding of the end-to-end "Code-to-Cloud" flow, including containerization, automated testing integration, and deployment logic.
  • Environment & Observability: Experience with Jenkins on EKS (or general cloud deployment) and familiarity with Splunk and Datadog for monitoring and logging.

Key Responsibility:

Own the "Developer Experience" by automating the path to production. You will bridge the gap between application code and cloud infrastructure, ensuring 45 squads have a consistent, scalable, and reliable delivery framework.

SAI Technology is looking for a Principle DevOps Engineer as a member of our product delivery team.

While working to deliver business capabilities across a globally distributed team, we continually strive to

advance technology innovation and agile practices and delivery efficiency across the delivery

organization.

The Expertise We're Looking For

? 5+ years of software engineering, configuration management & release engineering for large

scale enterprise applications.

? Strong understanding of CI / CD Processes, and experience with tools like Jenkins.

? Understanding of container technologies and orchestrators like Docker & Kubernetes.

? Understanding of different build tools and package managers for different programing languages,

e.g. Mvn, Gradle, Npm, pip

? Experience with git (and implementations like bitbucket/gitlab/GitHub), and with repositories such

as Artifactory.

? Developer oriented mindset with ability to design automations to solve problems and create

solutions - Proficient in scripting languages such as Groovy, Shell, Python and/or similar

languages

? Ability to understand the complete development flow and make recommendations on changes or

improvements to the development teams:

o Testing Stages, Coverage Reports, Quality Gates, Security Scans, Environment

? Understanding different components of an application Database/Mid-tier/Messaging/User-

? Experience with core AWS Services and ability to build automated processes using SDK or CLI.

The Purpose of Your Role

As Principal DevOps Engineer, you will be in-charge of owning our CI/CD pipeline through lower

development environment's all the way to production. You will review, analyze and recommend solutions

and tools to improve the software development process all while maintaining existing build processes and

leading the design and implementation of their replacement. You will be an integral part of the overall

product release process.

? Ability to review, analyze and recommend solutions and tools to improve the software

development & CI/CD process.

? Develop and support the Continuous Integration process, innovating where needed for solutions

that are adaptable to current issues.

? Ability to create readable and detailed documentation to explain flows, architectural diagrams or

processes.

? Trace complex CI/CD scenarios, release issues and environment issues in a multi-component

environment.

release activities with Release Management, Project Management, QA, and Development teams

to ensure a smooth roll out of releases.
