Our client is a global leader in advanced heat‑treatment systems and thermal processing technology. They are looking for an Assembly Technician to join their team to help in the production process of their thermal processing equipment.
- Read blueprints to assemble complex systems, with a variety of industrial materials, to ensure equipment is built to exact design specifications.
- Operate power tools and equipment such as band saw, table saw, manual hand brake, drill, grinder, etc.
- Handle and work with different types of material: felt insulation, ceramic, graphite, carbon fiber, molybdenum, stainless steel, carbon steel, etc.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year related assembly experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a High School Degree or GED equivalent
- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics
- Must have the ability to perform basic math in all units of measure, and follow geometry fundamentals like area, circumference, angles, and volumeS
