· High school diploma or GED required.
· Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality system environments.
· 1 year or more of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
· Familiarity with hand tools or basic assembly techniques.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive hand movements
· Must be able to stand, sit, or move for extended periods.
· Use of hands, fingers, and tools in fine assembly processes.
· Perform all duties and responsibilities of an Assembly Technician I.
· Read and interpret manufacturing plans, dimensional drawings, and work instructions to accurately complete assigned tasks.
· Perform detailed touch-up work on components and assemblies, ensuring consistent, high-quality finishes.
· Assist with disassembly, modification, rework, reassembly, and testing of experimental or prototype units as directed.
· Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection logs, process steps, and completion reports.
· Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and quality personnel to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
· Provide feedback on assembly process improvements or potential design enhancements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
The Assembly Technician II is a mid-level role responsible for performing advanced
assembly tasks, including interpretation of manufacturing documents and execution of quality-focused work. This role includes all Assembly Technician I duties, plus additional responsibilities related to rework, modifications, and more complex assemblies.
