Assembly Technician Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Assembly Technician Skills + Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.

Assembly Technician Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Assembly Technician you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

The Assembly Technician helps transform individual components into finished products through skilled assembly techniques and quality workmanship. This role requires technical knowledge, manual dexterity, and the ability to consistently follow detailed production instructions.
