Wanco Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician in our Arvada, CO production facility. Summary: Seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing production team that builds high-end highway safety and traffic control equipment. Our team members will be expected to be trained in all the functions necessary to build our products . You will be cross-trained through all the job stations to take on any role. Each job station requires attention to detail. Essential Functions: The successful candidate has experience in a lean manufacturing environment using an ERP system with an ability to be self-driven and go ahead with limited direction. Key requirements include: tDisplay a positive attitude and practice a strong work ethic that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of WANCO. tMechanical skills - bolting, drilling, general assembly, operating hoist/crane. tTeam player: cross-training and supporting peers with work that is outside of your, or their, core skill set. tIdentify and communicate quality, safety, and productivity improvement opportunities. tAccurately capture materials and parts consumption using provided computer systems and software. tSupport other projects when needed. Physical Requirements: tMobility to work in a large factory setting with walking, pushing, heavy lifting, standing, and sitting, while maintaining PPE requirements. tShift: M-F 10 hours daily (6:00 am-4:30 pm), with frequent Saturday work.
